Free training is available to anyone in Cornwall who is interested in improving the wellbeing of their environment, their community and themselves.
Saving Energy:

It will be a chance to meet like-minded individuals who have an interest in environmental issues and have a free lunch! Places are limited to 20 at each event.
In addition CCfV are running a 120hr programme for 14 people who would like to increase their skills and knowledge around environmental issues and all aspects of volunteering. This programme is available from 1 Sep 2007. The recognised qualifications and awards that can be undertaken during this time include:
Lantra Advanced Certificate in Volunteer Management (level 3)
NCFE Certificate in Volunteering (level 2)
AQA Unit Award Scheme:
Child Protection Awareness (Level 1)
Introduction to First Aid (Level 1)
Representing Your Organisation (Level 1)
Community Engagement and Changing Behaviours (Level 1)
Practical, hands on volunteering experience will be required throughout the programme. Placements will be found with the help of the Volunteer Centres. Other unaccredited training may be available.
