Three perspectives on communities.  What can we do to build and support stronger communities in Cornwall?  Is there anything we can learn from communities elsewhere?  Do you want your community to influence what Cornwall is like in the future? How can we involve Truro's community in tackling the twin challenges of climate change and peak oil?

It has been commonly thought that CO2 doubling could lead to a 3°C increase. The aim of the conference will be to explore, in this context, how to shape and deliver an anticipatory education for sustainable futures. All aspects and levels of education will be on the conference agenda.
The conference will include a range of presentations: papers, posters and workshops, together with work for exhibition and presentations in the visual and performing arts. The conference is being organised by the Centre for Sustainable Futures, University of Plymouth, in association with Kingston University, the Ecoversity, Bradford and the Higher Education Academy ESD Project.
